regi{\~o}es distantes (S{\~a}o Paulo-SP) e pr{\'o}ximas (Rio
sensoriamento remoto {\`a} laser (LIDAR). Os focos de queimadas
oriundos de dados do NOAA-12 permitiram identificar o
per{\'{\i}}odo do inverno e a regi{\~a}o pr{\'o}xima de
dentro do per{\'{\i}}odo de 1999-2007. Utilizando agrupamento de
trajet{\'o}rias entre o per{\'{\i}}odo de 2000-2006. A partir
identifica{\c{c}}{\~a}o somente desses sistemas de maior escala
deve-se ao fato da resolu{\c{c}}{\~a}o espacial dos dados de
entrada do modelo de trajet{\'o}ria Hysplit utilizado serem de
2,5º x 2,5º Verificou-se que em todos os n{\'{\i}}veis e
per{\'{\i}}odos analisados, existe pelo menos uma
trajet{\'o}ria preferencial em dire{\c{c}}{\~a}o {\`a}
As principais regi{\~o}es identificadas
Planet{\'a}ria.
As queimadas
pr{\'o}ximas quanto distante das fontes emissoras. ABSTRACT:
Biomass burning is an environmental problem with great impacts in
the local, regional and global scale. However, the studies related
to the effects of the burnings are scarce. The objective of this
work is to evaluate the effects of the biomass burning in the
southeastern Brazil, over distant (S{\~a}o Paulo - SP) and near
(Rio Claro - SP) regions of the source of burnings, mainly through
laser remote sensing (LIDAR). The active fires originated from the
NOAA-12 data allowed the identification of the winter period and
the region close to Ribeir{\~a}o Preto as of the max-imum amount
of burnings in the period from 1999 to 2007. Using cluster
analysis of trajectories in the period from 2000 to 2006 from this
region, it was noticed that the main system that influences its
transport is the subtropical anticyclone, but also, in some cases,
the transient systems. The identification of these systems is due
to the fact that the spatial resolution of the input data of the
trajectory model Hysplit was 2.5° x 2.5°. It was possible to
notice that in all levels and periods analyzed, there is at least
one preferred trajectory towards the metropolitan region of the
city of S{\~a}o Paulo, so that the pollution from the burnings is
added to the urban pollution. In the data collection campaign
during the winter of 2007 in the city of S{\~a}o Paulo, using an
elastic LIDAR in 532nm, together with data from the AERONET
sunphotometer, 10 cases with the arrival of burning material over
the LIDAR system were identified. The main regions that
contributed with the burnings advected for the study region were
the south of the Amazon Basin and northern Argentina, as well as
the countryside of the state of S{\~a}o Paulo, with great number
of burnings, mostly because of the sugarcane crops. Optical depth
analysis in 532nm, Lidar Ratio and Angstrom exponent revealed
values between 0,13 and 0,56; 44sr-74sr and 1,02 and 1,70,
respectively, similar to other papers about biomass burning. It
can be stressed that the analysis of the optical depth in the city
of S{\~a}o Paulo showed that there is no significant effect over
the city because of the entrance of plumes, probably due to the
influence of the aerosols inside the Planetary Boundary Layer. In
the city of Rio Claro from July to September, 2009, 31 days with
the presence of burning material were identified through an
elastic mobile Lidar system in 532nm, 20 of those days together
with gases and particulate measurements. The burnings detected by
the Lidar changed between 0,18 to 3,00km of altitude. In four case
studies it was identified that the best correlations between the
burning detection by the Lidar and gases/particulate were for CO
and NOx. This shows that there is burning impact both in near and
in far regions of the emission sources.",
